We are seeking a dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join a vibrant school in the South Ribble area. This maternity cover role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about early years education and is looking to make a positive impact on young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to reception pupils.
  • Creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the development of children.
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Monitoring and assessing children’s progress and adapting teaching materials accordingly.
  • Engaging with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching reception or early years.
