Your new companyWe are working closely with a secondary school in Leyland who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant school on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' educational journey, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Your new role

  • Provide classroom support for KS3 students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with 1:1 support for students with SEND, tailoring learning activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students' social and emotional development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with SEND children is highly beneficial.
  • Level 3 TA qualification is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
