Your new companyWe are working closely with a secondary school in Leyland who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant school on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' educational journey, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Your new role
- Provide classroom support for KS3 students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with 1:1 support for students with SEND, tailoring learning activities to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students' social and emotional development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with SEND children is highly beneficial.
- Level 3 TA qualification is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
