Finance Manager Role

NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading service sector organisation based near Preston in Lancashire to assist in recruiting a fully qualified Finance Manager. My client is looking for an experienced, confident and ambitious qualified Accountant who can help drive and manage a small team in preparing timely management accounts for an entity within the business. As a Finance Manager there will have lots of opportunity for progression and development to build on your existing experience.

Finance Manager Responsibilities -

  • Production of monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
  • Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Analysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/forecast
  • Assisting with preparation of annual budgets & monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Assisting with production of supporting schedules for annual statutory accounts & tax returns
  • Ad hoc analysis as required
  • Openly communicate and build good working relationships with internal stake holders
  • Communicate effectively with team colleagues and drive improvements in processes

Finance Manager Experience Required -

  • Ideally Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
  • Previous management experience in a finance based role 
  • High volume business background experience
  • Service sector accounting background advantageous
  • Good proficiency in Excel (v look ups & pivot tables).
  • Excellent communicator, to build great working relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience working within a high volume business 
  • Strong attention to detail.
