- Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, including cases involving catastrophic injury, surgical errors, delayed diagnosis, and birth injuries.
- Conduct thorough legal research, investigation, and case preparation, including drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other parties to ensure the smooth progression of cases.
- Provide clients with compassionate, high-quality legal advice, keeping them informed throughout the process.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings where necessary.
- Contribute to the team’s business development activities, including networking, attending events, and assisting with marketing initiatives.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 1+ years of post-qualification experience in clinical negligence or personal injury law.
- Strong track record of managing clinical negligence cases from start to finish.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, empathetic advice to clients.
- Experience liaising with medical experts and a solid understanding of medical issues related to clinical negligence claims.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
