Operations Manager, Leyland, up to £50kAn exciting opportunity has arisen with this thriving, successful business based in Leyland. They are seeking a focused, driven, personable leader to join them and provide an extensive support to the Directors. This role is crucial for maintaining exceptional standards of customer service, health and safety, regulatory compliance, productivity, and quality control while fostering a positive team atmosphere.Duties include;

  • Facilitate the efficient management of inventory / stock, customer order fulfilment, logistics and employee management.
  • Delivery of key business projects including (but not limited to) product certification and international trade regulatory compliance.
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient work-flow and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Manage team in line with all Company Health and Safety and HR Policies
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, order fulfilment, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Implement best practice for storage and retrieval of goods to maximise space utilisation whilst adhering to and prioritising Health and Safety.
  • Coordinate and manage suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Regularly review and update operational policies and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and best practice.
  • Support the Directors in delivering the business strategy by delivering the assigned Business Project Plan tasks and activities within agreed timescales.
  • To lead on the delivery of product certification in line with industry guidelines
