The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive testing and validation business in Leyland who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Propulsion Engineer to work on EDU and driveline testing to join their team on a permanent basis.

My client provides a range of vehicle testing, validation, and engineering to customers across automotive, petrochemical and defence to name a few and boasts a range of testing facilities for components and full vehicles.

Working within the Propulsion team you will have a focus on Driveline and EDU testing, the project work you will be undertaking is varied which includes the likes of durability and performance testing on electrified and conventions driveline products. You will have the opportunity to work on established and bespoke drive cycle for a range of customers ranging from OEMS and Tier 1 customers from the Automotive and Motorsport markets.

As a Propulsion Engineer working on Driveline and EDU testing you will have ownership of all aspects of testing and project delivery which includes liaising with customers and Technician within thee department throughout the full life cycle of the project. This will be a varied role where you have the opportunity of using CAD packages for fixture design, equipment installation, test bed control system setup, test execution and validating test results and report writing and feeding back to the customer.

This role would suit either a graduate engineer who is looking to develop a career within a reputable company who wants to pursue a career in HV/EV testing, or a time served Automotive Engineer who is experienced in Driveline and EDU testing with exposure to the HV/EV side of things.
