Job Title: Sales Administrator

Contract Type : 3 months temporary contract

Salary: £13 p/h

Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Kingdom People are seeking a skilled Sales Administrator to join a well-established trade sales company in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to support a busy sales office with order processing, customer service, and administrative duties.

Main Purpose of Job:

As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls, processing orders and invoices, and providing general office support to ensure the smooth operation of the trade sales department.

Main Duties:

  • Handle inbound calls and assist customers with enquiries.
  • Process incoming sales orders and manage invoicing.
  • Generate sales quotations and issue return authorisations/credit requests.
  • Provide accurate product and order information to customers.
  • Resolve order-related queries efficiently.
  • Support managers and supervisors in implementing company policies and business objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workplace.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Trade Office Supervisor.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong sales administration experience in a trade sales or similar environment.
  • Excellent telephone manner and confident call handling skills.
  • Professional and polite communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Pegasus Opera/MS Business Central or similar CRM is essential.
  • High attention to detail with strong numeracy and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs.
  • A strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
