About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated locum Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist to manage a varied community-based caseload of children with musculoskeletal (MSK), neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination needs. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with children in diverse environments, including clinics, schools, and home settings within the Chorley and South Ribble area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caseload Management: Conduct assessments and deliver interventions tailored to children with MSK, neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination challenges.
  • Community-Based Therapy: Provide physiotherapy services across multiple locations, including clinic visits, school settings, and home visits, with some remote work options.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with the Team Coordinator and Clinical Lead, who will provide comprehensive support throughout your role.
  • Equipment & Induction: Collect therapy equipment as needed and participate in a face-to-face induction.
About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Experience in paediatric physiotherapy; experience in MSK, neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination difficulties are all desirable
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a community-based caseload across varied settings.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with children, families, and other professionals, ensuring well-rounded care.
