Role Summary:Childrenā€™s Therapy Services is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to manage a community-based caseload of children with diverse needs, including musculoskeletal (MSK), neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination challenges. This role is clinic-based with frequent travel for school and home visits, delivering high-quality, individualized therapy to young clients within the Chorley and South Ribble areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions for children with a range of conditions (MSK, neuromuscular, developmental).
  • Provide care across multiple settings, including clinics, schools, and homes, adapting to each environment.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support childrenā€™s functional development and health.
  • Collect necessary therapy equipment and participate in a face-to-face induction.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Specialized experience in pediatric physiotherapy, including MSK and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families.
  • Local candidate preferred for face-to-face interactions and in-person duties; some remote working may be involved.

Support:Full support from the Team Coordinator and Clinical Lead will be provided to ensure a smooth and effective service.
