We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join the team at a high-end gastro pub. This role is ideal for someone with strong wine and cocktail knowledge, and any sommelier experience would be a distinct advantage. Bar Supervisor Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and bar operations
- Sommelier experience or wine service training is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Bar Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead the bar team to always ensure efficient and high-quality service
- Develop and maintain a creative cocktail menu and a curated wine list that complements the venue's ethos
- Train and mentor, the bar team on wine and cocktail knowledge, upselling techniques, and service standards
- Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality product offering
- Oversee the bar's cleanliness, compliance with health and safety regulations, and adherence to licensing laws
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring all patrons enjoy outstanding service
