About the Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 4 History Teacher to join our team at a school in Preston. This full-time, temporary position is available from after Easter until July. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative history lessons, inspiring students to explore the past and understand its impact on the present and future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons to Key Stage 4 students.
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching history at the secondary level, particularly Key Stage 4.
- Strong knowledge of the history curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for inspiring students and promoting a love for history.
