Our client a leading manufacturing company specialising in quality metalwork solutions and pride themselves on delivering high quality products, are looking to recruit an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.

The successful candidate will be joining as a Sheet Metal Worker and in this role, you will play a crucial role in their manufacturing processand offer the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Operating various sheet metal machinery and tools including, drills, lathes, band saws and Chop Saws.
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components and structures
• Conducting quality checks to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
• Collaborating with the team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Good Time Keeping.
• Happy to work overtime as and when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a sheet metalworker in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Competence in operating sheet metal machinery such as drills, lathes, band saws and chop saws.

Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 07:40 to 16:30/ Friday is 07:40 to 12:45.

In return the company offers a very competitive salary of 26,000 + overtime along with secure and interesting employment.
