Time Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator for our established client based in Leyland. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic business with great ambition and offers the opportunity to grow with the business. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years MIG Welding experience and be happy with manual work as the role will involve a lot of manual handling. Duties of this role will include:

  • Fabricate and assemble all products working with Mild Steel
  • Operate various tools and equipment such as MIG welders, drills, lathes, grinding & cutting tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
  • Measure, mark out, cut, shape, and fit box section, plate and tube.
  • Weld components together using various welding techniques
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

The successful candidate must:

  • Be experienced with MIG Welding and Fabricating
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Be able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Be a team player
