Time Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator for our established client based in Leyland. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic business with great ambition and offers the opportunity to grow with the business. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years MIG Welding experience and be happy with manual work as the role will involve a lot of manual handling. Duties of this role will include:
- Fabricate and assemble all products working with Mild Steel
- Operate various tools and equipment such as MIG welders, drills, lathes, grinding & cutting tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Â
- Measure, mark out, cut, shape, and fit box section, plate and tube.
- Weld components together using various welding techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
The successful candidate must:
- Be experienced with MIG Welding and Fabricating
- Be an effective communicator
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings
- Be a team player
