Position: Financial Controller
Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid, 3 days on-site per week)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller with expertise in fixed asset accounting to join a dynamic finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with key business partners, drive financial integrity, and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with non-financial stakeholders to drive business performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing revenue and costs associated with the company's internal development budget.
  • Manage and mentor a team of fixed asset and financial analysts.
  • Provide detailed monthly reports and insightful commentary for management packs.
  • Oversee project set-up and lifecycle management, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP and local statutory regulations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting audit and SOX compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2-5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong expertise in fixed asset accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience is a plus).
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities and strong influencing skills.
