Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:

Assisting the Accountant, the varied responsibilities, making use of Sage and Excel, will include;

  • Sales ledger, raising invoices and allocating receipts
  • Purchase ledger, matching invoices to order and goods received details
  • Assisting in bank and balance sheet control account reconciliations
  • Administrative tasks, for example, company vehicle matters

Assistant Accountant Skills and Experience:

  • At least 12 months experience of working in a busy accounts department
  • Familiar with sales and purchase ledger transactions and cash-book/bank reconciliations
  • Experience of using Sage and Excel
