Auto Electrical Engineer
Our Shenstone based client is looking for an Auto Electrical Engineer to join their existing service team within the Aftercare Department. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including both small commercial vehicles and large plant machinery. Full training will be provided to ensure you are well equipped to carry out your duties.
The business specialises in the design and production of innovative vehicle safety and security products. Their products range from camera and digital video recorders through to reverse parking solutions and their customers range from individuals and small businesses through to an extensive fleet work.
As an Auto Electrical Engineer you will need to have/be:

Details:
- Salary: Circa 30, 000 + night out allowance
- Working Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, hours will vary depending on travel time and location

Role of Auto Electrical Engineer:
- Install, repair, and maintain aftermarket safety and security systems on small commercial vehicles and large plant.
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards.
- Report faults as found and liaise with customers to offer solutions where necessary.
- Carry out vehicle inspections to assess the overall condition and functionality of electrical components.
- Assess and remove damaged components, replacing them with new, high-quality parts.
- Install new electrical components and test their functionality.
- Run diagnostics on vehicles to determine and troubleshoot faults.
- Remove and refit vehicle trim and components as needed to access and repair electrical systems.
