Customer Service Account Manager

  • Job Type: Full-time (working Mon - Fri and Tues - Sat on rotation)

My client based in Lichfield is dynamic property education community that is rapidly growing. They are currently looking for a Customer Service Account Manager who is enthusiastic about providing a good customer experience and is keen to learn and progress within the business. No specific experience is required as it's all about personality. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious and has a knack for building strong relationships.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate and manage weekly events across various UK locations, working closely with hotels to ensure dates and attendee numbers are secured.
  • Maintain records of member data and event details on spreadsheets.
  • Manage a community helpline via email, addressing member inquiries about app usage, event bookings, and general customer relations issues.
  • Update administrative notes regularly to ensure all member interactions are documented.
  • Engage with members to encourage upgrades post-education, leveraging strong relationship-building skills to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Travel to different cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, and London to oversee event setups and liaise with hotel teams.
  • Manage your schedule flexibly, compensating longer workdays with shorter ones within the week (travel time is given back in the week e.g. 4 hours travel time means you would get half a day off the next week)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively handling customer inquiries and building relationships.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, with a drive to succeed in a commission-based structure.
  • Ability to travel as needed and manage time effectively.
  • No prior experience in property necessary, but must be eager to learn and understand the product deeply.
