Our client is a highly respected company with their products being present in most supermarkets. They are steadily growing and always looking to expand their product range.

They are now looking for an Account Manager for their retail side of the business to take accountability for the delivery of set targets within a range of well-known designated supermarkets, build sustainable relationships with key customers and communicate effectively with internal departments to share information.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Relationship management
  • Develop optimised sales volumes, value and profitability
  • Plan and execute promotional activities
  • Report on any perceived potential risks to budget
  • Propose action plans
  • Devise and justify forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure complete customer confidence in selling points of the business & brands
  • Ensure effective communication both internally & externally

Our client is seeking an experienced person for this role, someone who can make a difference and is effective at building and maintaining client partnerships. You should demonstrate entrepreneurial flair as well as a passion for success and a knack of spotting potential problem areas and dealing with them early on. Additionally, our client is seeking someone who has experience of financial & volume forecasting and can demonstrate previous success when dealing with a multiple retail buyer.
