Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a One-to-One Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Lichfield. This part-time role offers 2-3 days a week with an immediate start and the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Providing support and guidance to a student on a one-to-one basis

- Assisting the student with academic tasks as directed by the teacher

- Encouraging and motivating the student to reach their full potential

- Communicating effectively with teachers and parents regarding the student's progress

- Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

- Experience working with primary aged children

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others

- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team

- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
