ROLE: Trainee Auto Electrical Engineer

SALARY: Minimum Wage (Increasing with experience)

LOCATION: Lichfield (National travel)

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Lichfield, who are looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will ideally have some exposure to Engineering - either within a work environment or via studies.

Full training will be given, however a willingness to learn and the want to progress within the role is a must.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Installing various systems and devices on both commercial and fleet vehicles.
  • Running tests on electrical components to ensure safe and effective installation.
  • Inspecting equipment for damage and malfunctions.
  • Reporting faults to the relevant department.
  • Completing vehicle inspections.
  • Running diagnostics on vehicles.
  • Following technical drawings and specification sheets.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.
