Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an energetic and dedicated Accounts Payable Manager/Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Lichfield.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Implement and maintain best practises for accounts payable operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including suppliers and colleagues in other departments.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
- Handle escalated queries and issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives that enhance financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing accounts payable processes and teams.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
