An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join a leading Industrial/Manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Description

  • Oversee all accounts payable operations and ensure the timely payment of invoices.
  • Manage the monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and maintain good relationships.
  • Prepare monthly payment runs and manage cashflow.
  • Ensure accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.
  • Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare reports on payable status and present them to senior management.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
