About the Business
This company only require 1-2 days a week in the office.
This is a contract opportunity to be a Financial Modeller for a sector leading service company based in Lichfield, who have a large, friendly team and really look after their employees. The business want to bring someone onboard with strong modelling skills to look at the group wide model. There is expertise in house to help, but you will provide the bandwidth to push the project forward. The role is hybrid with only 1-2 days a week in the office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing and influential FP&A team that operates across the entire company.
Main Duties:
As a Financial Modeller, your main duties include:
- Update the Group's financial forecasting model to show future performance using more bases.
- Make sure the financial model follows best practice standards.
- Add graphical displays for key business metrics across different planning scenarios.
- Recommend ways for management to simplify the model while maintaining best practices.
Location / Office / Culture
This role is an FTC with hybrid working, with just 1 day in the office based in Lichfield. They also include flexible hours that are shorter than usual. The company work from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 60+. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and foster a family oriented, supportive environment.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong experience in advanced financial modelling and forecasting
- High level knowledge in Excel
