Our clients residential care home in Lichfield is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join their team, offering high-quality care and companionship to their residents.

Position Details:

  • Contract Types: Full-time and part-time roles available
  • Shifts Available:
    • AM Shift: 6:45 am - 2:00 pm
    • PM Shift: 1:45 pm - 9:00 pm
    • Long Shift: 6:45 am - 9:00 pm
    • Night Shift: 7:45 pm - 8:00 am
  • Flexibility: Candidates must be able to work a mix of AM and PM shifts.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Medication training is essential to ensure safe and effective care for our residents

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care in line with each resident's individual care plan
  • Support with medication administration, ensuring all procedures follow best practices and regulations
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, promoting independence wherever possible
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate records, observing and reporting any changes in resident health or behaviour to the care team
