Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a leadership role? Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Team Leader to join their dedicated engineering team in Lichfield. The engineers play a crucial role in maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of the factory and the continuous supply of award-winning products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day maintenance of production equipment
  • Quickly reacting to breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Leading factory start-up and testing processes
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining machinery in a controlled environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
