A niche Lichfield based law firm are currently looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join the busy practice on a full time basis. You will be managing a varied workload, encompassing the entire conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion.

Experience required - 1-3 years PQE in this area of work either as a solicitor or licenced conveyancer although newly qualified conveyancers will be considered depending on the level of training received.

Location - Lichfield - fully office based

Salary - DOE

You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of conveyancing services including sales, purchases, re-mortgage work, residential development and landlord and tenant related issues.

Duties include:

  • Preparation of documents and property information forms
  • Ordering property searches
  • Preparation of reports on title and certificates of title
  • Handling exchanges of contracts and completions of sales and purchases
  • Attending to post completion tasks including preparation and submission of SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
  • File opening procedures to include AML and verification of client identity, source of funds checks and risk assessments
