Role objective:
Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Lead and develop a team of drivers and transport staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
Manage fleet maintenance schedules, ensuring operational reliability.
Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, health & safety, and driver regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
Identify opportunities for growth and process improvement, driving the business forward.
Essential criteria:
A proven track record in transport management within haulage or logistics.
Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience managing budgets and optimizing costs.
