Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating days and nights
  • 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am

Salary: £47,125

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dedicated engineering team in Lichfield. Their engineers play a crucial role in maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of their factory and the continuous supply of their award-winning products.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Overseeing day-to-day maintenance of production equipment
  • Quickly reacting to breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Leading factory start-up and testing processes
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation

Skills and Experience Required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining machinery in a controlled environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
