gap technical are proud to be representing this market leading business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based near Lichfield
Performance Objectives
- A permanent role, working on a panama shift pattern, 12 hour shifts 7-7.
- Working within a team of 3 engineers.
- Conducting routine and reactive maintenance and repair on food processing and packging equipment.
- Fault-finding and problem-solving, particularly with systems involving PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Implementing improvements to enhance productivity and safety across production lines.
- Working collaboratively with a team to ensure effective handovers and continuity in a shift-based environment.We are looking for time served Engineers ideally trained from Apprenticeship with either a FMCG, Food or Dairy industry background.
Person Specification
- Multiskilled engineer competent in both areas
- Previous experince in an FMCG enviroment
- Fast Moving Flexible Packing Production Lines
