On offer is the opportunity to join a company with a global reputation for their comprehensive, pioneering product range in the Centrifugal industry. Established over 40 years ago, the company has recently secured new international contracts and is seeking a Design Engineer ready to transition into a Manager role to drive growth and uphold high standards.

In this position, you will oversee large centrifugal projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients to understand their needs and utilizing CAD software to design or modify existing designs accordingly. You will also be responsible for assessing design factors such as operational efficiency, material usage, and cost.The Role

  • Execute full design lifecycle using advanced CAD/CAM and FEA methodologies for centrifugal casting systems
  • Optimize design parameters through comprehensive material science and operational efficiency analysis
  • Generate precise technical documentation and BOMs adhering to standards
  • Lead specialized design team, driving innovative engineering solutions

The Person

  • Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
  • Experience with heavy engineering design - machine automation/pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Looking to progress into management
