Executive Officer

My public sector client based in Lichfield is looking for an Executive Officer, to support their Deanery. This is a temporary assignment Monday to Friday paying £12.99 p/hr, full time 37.00 hours a week, the role is also currently working onsite with the possibility of some home working once training has been completed. Please note there is free parking onsite.

The Deanery co-ordinates and manages post-graduate medical education & training for all their trainees. Part of this is to place candidates within external medial placements, which they then invoice for.

This role would be to support the team by assisting the department and finance team to liaise with external providers to resolve the invoices and secure timely payments for a backlog of outstanding invoices. You should have good data entry skills and be able to work electronically through emails and electronic filing programs.

This is a very process driven role, so attention to detail is key and you must also have great communications skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

For the right candidate, there is also the potential scope to work on other projects and opportunities within the Deanery to increase your skill set and visibility within the department and organisation.

This role will require a clear DBS to be in place, and three years referencing.
