Key Responsibilities:Reach Truck and PPT Operations:
- Operate Reach Truck: Safely and efficiently operate reach trucks to transport, stack, and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Operate PPT: Use powered pallet trucks to move pallets of goods around the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the required locations.
- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and ensure they are stored properly in the warehouse.
- Pallet Handling: Efficiently handle pallets, ensuring they are stacked and stored securely, adhering to safety standards.
- Order Picking: Accurately pick and pack orders according to company standards, ensuring the correct items are selected and prepared for dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Assist with regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records, reporting any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Receiving Goods: Check and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, reporting any damaged or missing items.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to housekeeping standards, properly labeling areas, and following all safety protocols.
- Shipping and Dispatch: Assist in preparing shipments for dispatch, including packing, labeling, and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the warehouse.
