What are your responsibilities.....

  • Collaborate with the Planning Manager to create effective plans for each warehouse shift.
  • Analyse historical data and project future resource needs.
  • Review resource requirements and make recommendations based on forecast adjustments, absences, customer requirements, and seasonal peaks.
  • Monitor daily variances to ensure accurate resource requirements are met daily and weekly, adjusting as needed.
  • Provide the Planning Manager with daily/weekly KPI and performance reports to drive continual improvement throughout the warehouse.
  • Monitor downtime and performance using onsite tools.
  • Oversee daily and weekly agency requirements, weekly hours reconciliation, and updates around FTE.
  • Support the Planning Manager with necessary data for meetings.
  • Understand all internal processes specific to your role and suggest areas for development within the resource planning team.
  • Operate the performance management tool in conjunction with the planning tool.
  • Support and drive innovation within the resource planning department.
  • Act as a liaison between departments across the site to ensure consistent information flow.
  • Offer support to teams across the network to advance resource planning.
  • Assist the Planning Manager in managing the local on-site team.
  • Cover tasks across departments as required.
