Role  You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality components, materials, and services for our specialized automated finishing equipment projects. You’ll work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure our supply chain operates efficiently, meets project timelines, and adheres to quality standards. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to excellence in delivering complex automation projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, components, and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, while actively seeking new suppliers to support cost reduction and product quality goals.
  • Cost Optimization: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality or project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured items meet Koch Europe’s strict quality standards, collaborating with Project team to resolve any issues.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, including purchase orders and supplier contracts

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial automation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of automated finishing systems, surface treatment, or related fields is preferred.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with a proven ability to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering specifications and technical drawings.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze costs, manage budgets, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
