Description
- Oversee all accounts payable operations and ensure the timely payment of invoices.
- Manage the monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Liaise with suppliers and maintain good relationships.
- Prepare monthly payment runs and manage cashflow.
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.
- Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare reports on payable status and present them to senior management.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
