Our client base includes high-profile brands and high street names.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join our team in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fit-out, taking a project from the estimating stage through sub-contractor procurement, cost management, to final account settlement, effectively taking total financial control of the project.Responsibilities:Turnkey Commercial Role: Manage the entire commercial process of fast-track retail and leisure fit-out projects.Estimating: Develop accurate and competitive estimates for project bids.Sub-Contract Procurement: Oversee the procurement of sub-contractors, ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budget adherence.Final Account: Ensure the successful financial closure of projects.Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Requirements:Experience: Proven experience in the fit-out sector, specifically in retail and leisure projects.Location: Must be within an hour's commute of our West Midland Office.Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fast-track project environments.Professional Background: Fit Out and Retail Fit Out background.Benefits:Car: Fully expensed car including private mileage or car allowance.Healthcare: Health insurance worth circa £2K after 12 months.Employee Ownership: Membership in the EOT scheme after 12 months, which includes a tax-free bonus based on salary/service.Equipment: Company-provided phone and laptop.Working Conditions: No regular work-from-home policy unless under exceptional circumstances; 3 days in the office, 2 days on site.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
