FRENCH SPEAKING RECRUITER (HYBRID MODEL POSSIBLE)

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.00 - 17.00

People Solutions are looking for a French Speaking Recruiter for their client based in Lichfield. 

You need to be able to speak French as you will be speaking to applicants who may only speak French as their first language.

Day to Day Duties

  • Take the lead on all recruitment projects assigned to you
  • Consistently meet the recruitment team benchmarks of time, quality, cost, with quality as your primary driver
  • Use your previous experience to identify and innovate new ways of attracting talent to the organisation
  • Create tailored selection methodologies, making use of your market trend knowledge, understanding
  • of recruitment practices, and experience in competency and behavioural interviews
  • Ideally, including the use of psychometric assessments to assess risk
  • Role model recruitment best practice, with a special emphasis on ensuring excellence in candidate experience
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure role descriptions and person specifications are current and accurately reflect role requirements
  • Agree role scoring, screening, and interview criteria
  • Secure relevant role approvals before campaign launch.
  • Where applicable, research, analyse, decide, propose, and record outcomes for salary and package benchmarking, following the defined process.
  • Suggest, design, document and implement (including writing relevant copy) a candidate attraction campaign relevant to each role using relevant lead generation tactics.
  • Define role screening criteria, assessment benchmarks and other early selection methods
  • Use ATS (applicant tracking system) to progress candidate through the screening stages ensuring all applicant outcomes are recorded
  • Recommend, and where relevant assist in defining, candidate assessments that are appropriate to each vacancy and that support the selection of close match and high calibre talent
  • Recommend and write an appropriate competency-based interview and assessment
  • method for each vacancy. Lead all interviews in line with best practice format
  • With hiring managers, decide on the best match candidate for each post.
  • Ensure decisions are fair and comply with employment law
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Arrange pre-employment checks taking relevant action with any discrepancies
  • Ensure an offer letter, contract and other appropriate documentation is sent to the successful candidate
  • Ensure off letter accurately reflects the terms of the offer including any bonus, benefits and variations to standard terms and conditions
  • Ensure new members of staff are welcomed and their transition from candidate to employee is smooth
  • Liaise with People team Coordinators/Administrator regarding the induction process
  • Work closely with recruitment team colleagues

Essential Skills

  • Fluent French language skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment process, issues, and strategies and able to produce innovative and effective recruitment solutions
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Assertive, confident, and can work effectively with people at all levels

  • Has a good knowledge of the law and best practice relating to recruitment
  • Can manage projects to time
  • Sufficient financial acumen to deal with recruitment projects in a cost-effective way

  • Flexible approach and ready to adapt to changing demands
  • IT skills – intermediate MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Desirable Experience

  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in relevant subject
  • CIPD qualification (L3 or above).
  • Experience of designing and leading competency-based interviews and assessments for all levels of roles
  • Proven history of meeting objectives in a similar role
  • Experience of using psychometric assessment tools
  •  Has proven experience of managing and developing hiring managers/ recruiters skills
