EU Road Freight Supervisor

European Road Freight Supervisor - Lichfield - Up to 40,000

The European Road Freight Supervisor will be tasked to lead and expand the European Road Freight services by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring client retention and driving new business growth. Manage the team to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance standards.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 17:30pm

Salary: Up to 40,000

Hybrid working after successful completion of probation

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team to achieve productivity and profitability objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Manage quotes and coordinate European road freight shipments efficiently.
• Provide insights and updates on the European freight market.
• Identify opportunities for new business and drive sales.
• Collaborate with the customs team to ensure proper documentation for European road freight.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers to secure competitive rates and reliable services.
• Supervise team activities, ensuring targets and KPIs are consistently met.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of European road freight services and pricing structures.
• Familiarity with European customs regulations and processes.
• Based in the UK and have right to work
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Capable of problem-solving and negotiating effectively.
• Team-oriented with a focus on meeting targets.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Positive, energetic approach to work.
• Additional language skills are advantageous.
