Job Title: Senior Finance Assistant
Location: Lichfield
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000
Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with experience in both Purchase Ledger and Payroll as well as supervisory experience.
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic business in Lichfield, they have a warm and welcoming environment and a very low staff turnover! We are looking for a confident communicator with previous working experience in Purchase Ledger and, ideally, Payroll to support two Assistants and complete end-to-end processes. Full training can be provided for the right candidate, the main thing in this round of recruitment is a perfect team-fit!
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Authorise invoices and payments, ensuring suppliers are paid by the appropriate method on agreed payment days
- Manage monthly and quarterly procedures including reconciliation of consignment stock balances and tidying of purchase reserve
- Oversee the Cash Book, ensuring transactions are posted accurately and bank accounts are reconciled regularly
- Administration of company pensions and ensuring accurate Payroll submissions and reports to management and HMRC
Ideally, You Will:
- Have working experience of end-to-end Purchase Ledger
- Have a solid understanding, and ideally working practice, of end-to-end Payroll including statutory pays, reporting and calculations
- Be a friendly and communicative person, this is a warm and friendly team that are looking for that perfect team fit!
- Ideally, you will have supervisory experience or be looking for a step into management!
