Zest Education have the privilege of working along side a secondary school in the Lichfield area. The school is looking to recruit a maths teacher for an initial period of one term January 2025.
The school is centrally located to the Lichfield area, having excellent public transport links as well as onsite parking. The Ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the wider maths department to plan and mark classwork and assessments. The school are looking for a candidate with excellent classroom management and the desire to engage students. Subject knowledge at KS3 and KS4 is essential with some knowledge at KS5 being beneficial.
The successful applicant will have:- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Mathematics and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
