Location: Lichfield & Surrounding Areas

Contract: Full-time, Flexible Hours

Pay Rate: £86.40 - £120 per day

We're looking for an enthusiastic Youth Worker to join a supportive environment dedicated to helping young people flourish. Based in a community-centred school and outreach setting, this role focuses on assisting youth aged 11-18 who may face behavioural, emotional, or social challenges. You'll guide them through activities designed to build confidence, resilience, and life skills. By working directly with students, families, and other local agencies, you'll help create a nurturing space where each young person feels valued and empowered to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group sessions, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring.
  • Facilitate activities to promote self-esteem, teamwork, and positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with schools, community groups, and families to provide consistent support.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on each young person's progress.

About You:

  • Previous experience in youth work, social work, or related fields.
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and dedicated to making a positive impact.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate youth.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
