Are you a dedicated and motivated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Zest is recruiting on behalf of a school in the Lichfield area for a full-time Classroom Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities:- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs- Monitor and handle challenging behaviours effectively- Support students in their social and emotional development- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:- Experience working in a special educational needs environment- Strong understanding of different learning needs and behaviours- Ability to build rapport with students and support their individual needs- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude- Relevant qualifications in education or child care are desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
