Are you an experienced Sports Coach looking to transition into a classroom environment? We are seeking dynamic and adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity for Sports Coaches to broaden their skill set while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage secondary school classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-set lessons to students, ensuring they remain engaged and on-task.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students with their work where required and ensure they understand instructions.
Report back to teaching staff on the performance and behavior of the class.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role working with young people.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage groups of students effectively.
A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools and classrooms.
A passion for supporting students’ learning and development.
A good understanding of behavior management techniques.
A valid DBS check (registered to the update service) or willingness to undergo one.
Obtain 2 professional references and one being a relevent reference

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years, that can be referenced
