We are looking for an Experienced L&D Business Partner to work for one of the largest Manufacturers of many household products within the UK, based at their site in Lifton, Devon. Working alongside the Senior HRBP and HR Manager the scope of this role will be to lead change, build skills and capability, engage and motivate staff, develop their talents and improve the potential of staff. You will also undertake ongoing evaluation of training requirements to look at ways of continually improving the learning and development opportunities and ensure that the needs of the site are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the HR teamin creating the learning and development strategy for site and setting clearly defined KPIs ensuring alignment with the site strategy.
  • Scoping, designing and delivering effective development programmes and solutions for a range of colleagues across the site which incorporates core capabilities and competencies in line with L&D strategy for the site.
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring the Training team and ensure the resource is deployed across the site and adding value.
  • Assisting with, arranging and/or delivering all aspects of technical training on site including Health, Safety, Hygiene & Environmental.
  • Recording and maintaining the training records on-site and to assist in the accreditation of audit requirements.
  • Working proactively to conduct training needs analysis in line with mandatory requirements, individual needs and the business strategy.
  • Managingapprentice programmes including recruitment, monitoring progress through regular reviews and provider compliance monitoring.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Candidate Attributes Required:

  • A Minimum of two yearsL&D experience gained from within a Manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Up to date with L&D trends and practices.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Qualified in train the trainer methodologies.
