VIQU have partnered with a government authority based in Warwickshire who are looking to invest in their internal development teams. They are looking for a Junior Power Apps Developer to join their dynamic Power Platform Team. This role provides the chance to work on innovative, cutting-edge applications while receiving hands-on training and support from an experienced and highly skilled team. Requirements of the Junior Power Apps Developer:

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a Power Apps Developer role
  • Working towards, or certified as a Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
  • Previous experience in application development with Canvas Apps
  • Eligible for NPPV3 clearance (minimum 5 years continued residency in UK and not have left for over one month)

Responsibilities of the Junior Power Apps Developer:

  • Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues reported by users.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Document development processes, technical specifications, and user guides for applications.
  • Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Support user training sessions and create training materials for end-users.
  • Monitor application performance and suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices to continually enhance skills and contribute to team knowledge.
