We're seeking a LV Power Management - System Owner to oversee Low Voltage Power Supply systems for our customers vehicles in the Gaydon/Wellesbourne area.

Job Purpose:

Develop and take ownership of Low Voltage (LV) Power Supply systems (12V and 48V) across all customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain LV Powernet control strategies (charging, load management, deep discharge protection, Q-drain self-test, etc.) for all vehicle programs.
  • Collaborate with the EDS team on load distribution and volt drop calculations.
  • Enhance the LV load simulation model using Matlab/Simulink.
  • Lead LV testing activities, including Q-drain and cold crank testing.
  • Resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
  • Translate system requirements into components.

Essential Experience:

  • Knowledge of automotive power supply systems and energy storage (AGM, Li-Ion, SupCap).
  • Familiarity with battery charging systems, including DCDC converters.
  • Proficiency in creating system simulations using Matlab/Simulink.
  • Understanding of automotive product development (V-Cycle).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure workloads.

  • Knowledge of diagnostics protocols (UDS/ODX) and DBC/FIBEX standards.
  • Technical engineering background with expertise in calculation and analysis.

Additional Requirements:

  • Some travel within Europe or globally may be necessary for vehicle testing.
