About the client
We are currently looking for two maintenance engineers to join our client, a leader within the aerospace supply chain. Experiencing significant growth, the company expanded by 23% in 2023 and recently invested in a second site, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the UK. With a full orderbook, the business is going from strength to strength and will be looking to increase their £78m annual turnover throughout 2025. About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will work within a large team (37 engineers on site) to ensure the safe and effective running of all plant machinery. This is a process environment and the equipment you will maintain includes ABB robotics, Water Jet cutting machinery, spray coating lines, vacuum processes , plasma lines plus more.
Responsibilities include:
- Planned preventive maintenance.
- Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work
- Electrical fault finding
- Completing project work & Electrical installation work
- Continuous improvement and root cause analyses
About you
To be considered for a maintenance engineer position with the business, you should be multiskilled, however of either bias.
You should have the following:
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.
- Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
- Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures.
- Recognised engineering qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).
- Our client will also consider engineers who have recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
