Your new companyHays Senior Finance are working with a long-established, successful family-run business in South Lincolnshire to recruit a Company Accountant.Your new roleThis newly created role will see you taking responsibility for a wide range of accounting tasks including the preparation of the monthly management accounts and presentation to the senior leadership team, VAT, quarterly and year-end accounts, payroll, credit control and cashflow forecasting, as well as supporting the team with the bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and general ledger/journal entries as required.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA or ACA) or have relevant experience at Accountant level. You will have experience of working in a busy, commercial SME, used to taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks from bookkeeping to year-end. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to present monthly figures to the board. You will have strong IT skills, including Excel.
