  • Finance Controller
  • Location UK : Lincoln or Camberley - Can also be located in Lisbon
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday
  • Inside IR35
  • 300 Per day
  • ASAP Start
  • 12 Month contract.
  • Hybrid Model - can be flexible to some home working also.

SE RE Europe Finance Controller

SE Real Estate is looking to recruit a Finance Controller for Europe. As the controller you will be responsible supporting Europe FIN Head in steering business by providing a complete and transparent analysis of SE Real Estate business including performance and operational controlling of the regions in Europe, as well as being the interface between the countries and Hub Management.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Co-ordination and management of annual budgeting process within Hub Europe
  • Co-ordination and management of month end actuals and forecast process within Hub Europe
  • Monthly/quarterly performance controlling for Hub Europe including variance analysis and preparation of reports as required
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16 essential
  • Support Hub EU FIN Head in management of Savings ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
  • Drive process optimization and digitalization / automation and foster continuous improvements to increase e.g. cost transparency and accuracy
  • Proactive quality management in reporting and ensure strict compliance with both corporate and Real Estate guidelines and standards
  • Management of Hub cost centres
  • Responsible for calculation of admin charges and management of Internal Service Agreements
  • Liaison with Hub Operations finance to ensure accurate reporting
  • Main Hub contact with Commercial support service provider
  • Evaluation of opportunities and risks from operational business at a Hub level
  • Ensure correctness and completeness of financial figures on a timely basis
  • Liaise with Global departments to ensure correctness of tools and management of other legal entities
  • Implementation and alignment of SE RE guidelines and principles
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Support adhoc tasks / requirements
  • Liaison with external service providers to ensure service quality

What do I need to qualify for the role?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good analytical skills handling large quantities of data
  • Previous experience working in a numerical or financial environment is required. The post holder should be accounting qualified
  • Previous Real Estate experience and international experience is preferred,
  • Ability to managing finance in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Fluent English
  • The ability to communicate clearly with different levels of stakeholders across the business
