This newly created role will give you full ownership of the group’s financial reporting, controls, and compliance — as well as the opportunity to lead and shape a high-performing finance team.Why this role?

What you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing group financial reporting, internal controls, and statutory compliance
Driving best practice across governance, VAT, and regulatory frameworks
Developing and mentoring your finance team to deliver continuous improvement
Acting as a key strategic partner to the CFO and wider exec team
Embedding robust processes across multiple sites

What you’ll bring:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Experience in a manufacturing or operations-led environment
Previous success as a Financial Controller or No.2 in finance
Confident leadership skills with a track record of managing teams of 5+
A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to influence at all levels
